Description

These homemade red velvet Oreo cookies are soft, rich, and filled with a creamy surprise in every bite. Perfect for a quick dessert, holiday treat, or sweet snack, they combine classic red velvet flavor with Oreo crunch and cream cheese filling.


Ingredients

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup unsalted butter softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon red food coloring

12 Oreo cookies chopped

8 oz cream cheese softened

1 cup powdered sugar


Instructions

1. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy

2. Add eggs and vanilla extract, then mix in red food coloring

3. Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl

4. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients to form dough

5. Fold in chopped Oreo cookies evenly

6. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and chill slightly

7. Scoop dough, add filling in center, and seal

8. Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes

9. Cool before serving
