Ideal for those looking for hot honey chicken recipes or spicy baked chicken dishes.
Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
3 tablespoons hot honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ cup crumbled feta cheese
1 teaspoon fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
2. (Optional) Heat a skillet with 1 tbsp olive oil and sear the chicken on both sides for about 2 minutes each to lock in flavor.
3. In a small bowl, mix the hot honey and 1 tbsp olive oil until blended.
4. Place the chicken breasts in a greased baking dish. Brush each piece with the hot honey mixture.
5. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
6. Remove from oven and top immediately with crumbled feta and fresh herbs.
7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
Searing the chicken adds extra depth of flavor but is optional.
Use a meat thermometer for accuracy—overcooked chicken becomes dry.
Adjust the spice level of the hot honey by adding red pepper flakes or hot sauce to your taste.
