Description

This irresistible Cheddar Bay Biscuit Egg Breakfast Casserole is your ultimate morning comfort food. Made with cheesy biscuits, fluffy eggs, and garlic flavor, it’s an easy breakfast casserole perfect for holidays, brunch, or weekly meal prep.

Ingredients

2 cups Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

6 large eggs

1 1/4 cups milk or half-and-half

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Optional: 1/2 cup cooked crumbled sausage or bacon, 1/2 cup sautéd vegetables (spinach, bell peppers)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. In a bowl, prepare the Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix as directed on the package. Fold in 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese.

3. Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough into the baking dish. Do not flatten.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the biscuit dough.

6. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.

7. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until golden brown and the center is set.

8. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

Let the casserole cool before storing to avoid sogginess.

For added depth, sprinkle cooked sausage or bacon before baking.

Don’t overbake—the casserole should have a slightly jiggly center when it comes out.
