Ingredients
1 lb chicken tenders
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 egg
2 tbsp milk
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp olive oil or butter (for frying)
Juice of 1 lemon
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Prepare three separate bowls: one with flour, one with whisked egg and milk, and one with a mixture of panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Dredge each chicken tender in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Ensure each tender is fully covered.
- Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the tenders in a single layer for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Work in batches if necessary.
- Drizzle fresh lemon juice over the cooked tenders while still warm.
