Ingredients
1 pound ground beef (80/20)
12 mini slider buns
6 slices cheddar cheese (halved)
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 tomato (thinly sliced)
12 pickle slices
1 tablespoon butter or oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Shape ground beef into 12 small patties about 2 inches wide and season both sides with salt and pepper.
2. Heat a skillet over medium-high and add butter or oil. Cook patties 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
3. In the final 30 seconds, place half a slice of cheddar on each patty. Cover pan to melt the cheese.
4. Toast slider buns lightly with butter in the same skillet or oven.
5. Assemble each slider with lettuce, patty, tomato slice, and pickle. Cap with the top bun.
6. Secure with toothpicks and serve immediately.
Notes
Use a mini burger press for uniform patties that cook evenly.
Keep burgers warm in the oven at 200°F if making a large batch.
Feel free to switch up toppings like caramelized onions, bacon, or avocado.
