A comfort food classic made easier! This One Pot Philly Cheesesteak Pasta combines juicy steak strips, sweet peppers, onions, and pasta all in one skillet, tied together with a rich and creamy cheese sauce. A fast and filling dinner the whole family will love.
Ingredients
1 lb beef sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 medium onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz penne or rigatoni pasta
3 cups beef broth
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp paprika
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add sliced beef and sear until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté bell peppers, onions, and garlic until softened.
- Return beef to the pot. Add uncooked pasta and pour in beef broth.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer. Cover and cook for 12–15 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Stir in cream cheese until melted. Add shredded cheese and mix until sauce is creamy.
- Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
