Description

This One Pot Pizza Pasta recipe is the ultimate comfort food, combining cheesy pizza flavors with hearty pasta in one easy skillet meal. Perfect for busy weeknights, family dinners, or meal prep, it’s packed with mozzarella, marinara, pepperoni, and Italian sausage. Make-ahead, freezer-friendly, and customizable!


Ingredients

350g rotini or penne pasta

250g ground beef

250g Italian sausage

2 cups marinara sauce

2 cups water or broth

1 cup mini pepperoni

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup bell peppers or mushrooms (optional), chopped

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

1. In a large skillet or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat.

2. Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until softened and fragrant.

3. Pour in marinara sauce, water or broth, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir in pasta, ensuring it’s submerged.

4. Cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce thickened.

5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan over the top, add mini pepperoni, cover until cheese melts, or broil for 2-3 minutes for a golden top.

6. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve hot.
