Description

This One Pot Pizza Pasta brings together everything you love about pizza and pasta into a single, easy-to-make dish. With melty cheese, bold tomato sauce, and a mix of your favorite toppings, it’s the perfect weeknight meal for the whole family.

Ingredients

12 oz rotini pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 small onion, chopped

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 bell pepper, chopped (any color)

1/2 cup sliced black olives

1 cup pepperoni slices, divided

3 cups marinara sauce

2 to 2.5 cups water (enough to cover pasta)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
  2. Add bell pepper and half the pepperoni slices. Cook for 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce and uncooked rotini. Add water to just cover the pasta. Mix well.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Once pasta is al dente and liquid mostly absorbed, sprinkle mozzarella on top. Add remaining pepperoni and olives.
  6. Cover and let the cheese melt for 2–3 minutes. Finish with Italian seasoning and cracked pepper.
  7. Serve warm directly from the pot.
