Description

These Orange Creamsicle Truffles are a no-bake dessert that combines creamy white chocolate and zesty orange flavors for a nostalgic treat. Perfect for gifting, parties, or a sweet indulgence, this truffle recipe is easy to make, freezer-friendly, and full of refreshing citrus flavor. Great for summer desserts or holiday trays!

Ingredients

24 Golden Oreos or vanilla sandwich cookies

6 oz cream cheese, softened

1 tsp orange extract

1 tbsp orange zest

12 oz white chocolate chips or melting wafers

1 drop orange gel food coloring (optional)

1 tsp decorative orange zest or sanding sugar (optional)

Instructions

1. In a food processor, crush the cookies into fine crumbs.

2. Add cream cheese, orange extract, and orange zest. Blend until smooth and fully combined.

3. Transfer the mixture to a bowl, cover, and chill for 30 minutes.

4. Once firm, scoop the mixture into small balls and roll until smooth.

5. Place on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for 15–20 minutes to firm up.

6. Meanwhile, melt white chocolate using a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals until smooth.

7. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off.

8. Place dipped truffles back on parchment paper to set.

9. If desired, drizzle with tinted orange chocolate and sprinkle with zest or decorative sugar.

10. Allow truffles to fully set before serving or storing.

Notes

For bold orange flavor, use both zest and extract—don’t skip either.

Make sure your cream cheese is softened for easy blending and smooth texture.

Chill thoroughly before dipping so truffles keep their shape when coated.
