Ingredients
4 large flour tortillas
1 cup pizza sauce or marinara
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
16 slices pepperoni
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, or cooked sausage (optional)
Instructions
1. Warm the tortillas in a skillet for a few seconds on each side until soft and flexible.
2. Spread pizza sauce down the center of each tortilla.
3. Add mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian seasoning, and any optional fillings.
4. Fold in the sides and roll each tortilla tightly into a burrito shape.
5. Place the burritos seam-side down on a baking sheet or in an air fryer basket.
6. Brush the tops lightly with olive oil or melted butter.
7. Bake at 400 F for 15 to 18 minutes, or air fry at 380 F for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
8. Cook until golden brown and crisp on the outside.
9. Let cool slightly, then serve with extra warm pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
Do not overfill the tortillas or they may split while rolling or cooking.
Warming the tortillas first makes them easier to roll without cracking.
For extra crisp pizza burritos, let them rest for 2 minutes after cooking before serving.
