Ingredients

Chicken breast

Fettuccine or linguine

Cajun seasoning

Heavy cream

Parmesan cheese

Garlic

Butter

Olive oil

Salt and pepper

Parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Season and cook chicken:
    • Pat chicken dry and season with Cajun seasoning.
    • Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet.
    • Sear chicken until golden and cooked through (5-6 minutes per side). Set aside to rest.
  2. Cook pasta:
    • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
    • Cook pasta until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  3. Make sauce:
    • In the same skillet, sauté garlic.
    • Pour in heavy cream and bring to simmer.
    • Add Parmesan and stir until thickened.
    • Season with more Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Combine and finish:
    • Toss cooked pasta in sauce, adding pasta water if needed.
    • Slice chicken and place on top.
    • Garnish with parsley.
