Description

This creamy Shrimp Dip is a flavorful, easy-to-make appetizer loaded with chopped shrimp, tangy cream cheese, sour cream, and zesty seasoning. Perfect for parties, game day, or any gathering, it’s a crowd-favorite seafood dip recipe. Serve with crackers, baguette slices, or fresh veggies!


Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 lb cooked shrimp, finely chopped

1/4 cup green onions, sliced

1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped (optional)


Instructions

1. Let the cream cheese come to room temperature for easier mixing.

2. In a mixing bowl, use a hand mixer or whisk to combine cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth and fluffy.

3. Stir in lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.

4. Fold in chopped shrimp and sliced green onions using a rubber spatula.

5. Optional: Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld.

6. Garnish with chopped fresh chives before serving. Serve chilled with crackers, bread, or veggies.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh shrimp or high-quality frozen shrimp that’s been fully thawed and well-drained.

Letting the dip chill for an hour or more enhances the flavor and texture.

Avoid overmixing once the shrimp is added to keep the texture nice and chunky.
