Description

Snickers Rice Crispy Treats are a rich, no-bake dessert layered with gooey marshmallows, creamy caramel, crunchy peanuts, and silky milk chocolate. This easy treat combines Rice Krispies cereal and candy bar flavors into indulgent snack bars, perfect for parties or freezer storage. Great as a sweet snack or potluck favorite!

Ingredients

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

10 ounces mini marshmallows

6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

11 ounces caramel candies

2 tablespoons heavy cream

1 cup salted peanuts

1 ½ cups milk chocolate chips

Instructions

1. In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.

2. Remove from heat and immediately stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until fully coated.

3. Press the mixture evenly into a parchment-lined 9×13 baking dish using a buttered spatula or hands.

4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the caramel candies with heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

5. Pour the melted caramel over the cereal base and spread evenly.

6. Sprinkle the salted peanuts over the caramel layer while still warm.

7. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave until smooth, then pour over the peanuts and spread gently.

8. Let the bars sit at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate is set.

9. Once firm, lift the bars from the pan and cut into squares for serving.

Notes

Line the baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal and cleaner slicing.

Lightly grease your spatula or hands to prevent sticking when pressing the cereal layer.

Let the caramel cool slightly before adding chocolate to avoid mixing the layers.
