Description

This spicy Cajun garlic butter sauce is bold, buttery, and packed with flavor—perfect for seafood, chicken, pasta, and more. Made in under 10 minutes, this quick Cajun sauce recipe blends garlic, butter, Cajun seasoning, and lemon juice for the ultimate zesty kick. Great for seafood boils or dipping bread!

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon chopped parsley (fresh or dried)

⅛ teaspoon salt (optional, to taste)

Instructions

1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter slowly to avoid browning.

2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

3. Stir in Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes.

4. Add lemon juice and mix well to balance the spice.

5. Stir in chopped parsley and salt (if using), let simmer for 1–2 minutes, then remove from heat.

Notes

Use freshly minced garlic for the most aromatic result.

Adjust the heat by increasing or decreasing red pepper flakes.

For a citrusy twist, try adding a little lemon zest along with the juice.
