Description

Spicy Cajun Honey Butter Chicken & Pasta is a bold and creamy dinner recipe featuring tender chicken in a buttery honey glaze over fettuccine. With smoky Cajun spices, garlic, and a hint of sweetness, it’s the perfect quick meal for spice lovers and comfort food fans alike.


Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cubed

8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta

1 ½ tbsp Cajun seasoning

3 tbsp honey

3 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. Boil water and cook the pasta until al dente. Reserve ¼ cup of pasta water, then drain.

3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear for 5–6 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from pan.

4. Lower heat, melt butter in the same skillet, stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds.

5. Whisk in the honey and a pinch of Cajun seasoning. Simmer until slightly thickened, about 2 minutes.

6. Return the chicken to the pan and toss to coat in sauce.

7. Add pasta and a splash of reserved pasta water if needed. Stir well to combine.

8. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For extra sauce, double the butter, honey, and garlic.

Adjust spice by reducing or increasing the Cajun seasoning.

Works great with shrimp, too—just reduce cook time.
