Ingredients

1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cubed

10 oz rotini pasta

1 cup heavy cream

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

1. Pat the steak dry and cut into bite-sized cubes. Season with salt and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet. Sear steak cubes on all sides until browned. Set aside.

3. Boil rotini in salted water according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.

5. Add heavy cream, then whisk in parmesan cheese. Simmer to thicken.

6. Toss in the cooked rotini, loosening with pasta water if needed.

7. Fold in the steak bites and sprinkle with parsley and red pepper flakes.

8. Serve immediately and enjoy hot.
