Ingredients
250 g ribeye or sirloin steak
1 cup long-grain white rice
1 cup queso cheese sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika or chili powder
2 tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
1. Pat the steak dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
2. Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat and sear the steak 3-4 minutes per side. Let it rest.
3. In a saucepan, cook rice with butter, garlic powder, and onion powder until fluffy.
