A savory and satisfying dinner recipe featuring seared steak in a sticky honey garlic glaze, paired with tender rotini pasta. A perfect blend of sweet, salty, and umami flavors all in one comforting dish.
Ingredients
1 lb (450g) sirloin or ribeye steak
8 oz (225g) rotini pasta
3 tablespoons honey
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Season steak with salt and pepper. Sear in hot skillet with olive oil for 3–4 minutes per side. Let rest.
- Boil rotini in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat and melt butter. Add garlic, honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Cook until sauce thickens.
- Slice rested steak thinly and return to skillet. Coat in sauce and simmer for 1–2 minutes.
- Add rotini and toss with sauce. Garnish and serve.
