Description
These Sweet Rolls with Berry Twist are soft, fluffy, and swirled with a luscious berry filling. Finished with a smooth vanilla glaze, they’re perfect for brunch, dessert, or a sweet snack anytime. Make them ahead or enjoy them fresh out of the oven for a bakery-style treat at home.
Ingredients
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup whole milk, warmed
2 1/4 tsp instant yeast (1 packet)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
1 tsp salt
2 cups mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup sugar (for filling)
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp milk or cream (adjust for glaze consistency)
Optional: 2 oz cream cheese for glaze richness
Instructions
- Warm the milk and mix with sugar and yeast. Let sit until frothy (5–10 mins).
 - Stir in eggs, melted butter, and salt. Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms.
 - Knead for 8–10 minutes. Dough should be smooth and slightly tacky.
 - Place in greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1–1.5 hours or until doubled.
 - For the filling: Heat berries and sugar in saucepan. Add cornstarch and cook until thickened. Cool completely.
 - Roll dough into a large rectangle. Spread filling over dough.
 - Roll up from the long side and slice into 1.5-inch rolls.
 - Place rolls in greased pan. Cover and let rise 30–45 minutes.
 - Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden.
 - Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls.
