Description

This Crockpot Mississippi Chicken is the ultimate comfort food — tender, juicy chicken simmered in a rich, buttery gravy with zesty pepperoncini. It’s an easy slow cooker recipe perfect for weeknight dinners, meal prep, or feeding a crowd.


Ingredients

Chicken breasts or thighs

Ranch seasoning mix

Au jus gravy mix

Pepperoncini peppers

Butter

Optional: Pepperoncini juice


Instructions

  1. Spray or lightly grease the inside of your crockpot.
  2. Place chicken in an even layer in the bottom.
  3. Sprinkle ranch seasoning and au jus mix over the chicken.
  4. Add pepperoncini peppers and optional juice.
  5. Top with butter slices.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 4 hours.
  7. Shred chicken in the crockpot and mix into the sauce.
  8. Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
