Ingredients
2 large Russet potatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Peel and cut the potatoes into 1/4-inch thick sticks.
- Soak the cut fries in cold water for 30 minutes. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- In a bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, salt, and optional cornstarch and seasonings.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Work in batches if needed.
- Air fry for 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
