Ingredients
12 oz spaghetti
2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
1 ½ cups marinara or spaghetti sauce
1 cup heavy cream or whole milk
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta – Boil a large pot of salted water. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente. Drain and toss with a little olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Prepare the Chicken and Sauce – In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add shredded chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper. Stir for 2 minutes.
- Add Sauce – Pour in the marinara sauce and heavy cream (or milk). Stir and let the sauce simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Combine Pasta and Sauce – Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
- Assemble in Baking Dish – Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the spaghetti mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Bake – Place in the oven and bake uncovered for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown.
- Garnish and Serve – Remove from the oven, let it rest for a few minutes, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy!
