Ingredients
3 cups cooked shredded chicken
1 bag frozen tater tots (32 ounces)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 ounces)
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
3 green onions, sliced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, 1 cup cheddar cheese, half of the bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt until fully combined.
3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
4. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single even layer over the top.
5. Bake uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes, until the casserole is bubbling and the tater tots are golden.
6. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup cheddar cheese and the rest of the bacon over the top.
7. Return the dish to the oven for 5 to 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
8. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes, then finish with sliced green onions and serve warm.
