Description

These Chicken Bites are a quick dinner favorite with juicy seasoned chicken, buttery garlic flavor, and golden pan-seared edges. This easy recipe is perfect for busy weeknights, meal prep, easy dinner plans, and simple food ideas when you want a fast homemade meal that still tastes special.


Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

1. Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels and place them in a mixing bowl.

2. Add the olive oil, paprika, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper, then toss until the chicken is evenly coated.

3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.

4. Add the chicken in a single layer and cook for 3 to 4 minutes without stirring too much so it can brown well.

5. Turn the chicken pieces and continue cooking for another 3 to 5 minutes, until golden and cooked through.

6. Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the butter and minced garlic.

7. Stir everything together for about 1 minute, until the butter melts and the garlic becomes fragrant.

8. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Cut the chicken into even pieces so it cooks at the same rate.

Do not overcrowd the skillet or the chicken will steam instead of brown.

Add the garlic near the end so it stays fragrant and does not burn.
