Description

A light, crispy treat with a sweet and spicy twist, these Cinnamon Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips make for a perfect afternoon nibble or dessert topper. Quick to prepare and naturally sweet, they’re a healthier alternative to traditional chips, and completely addictive.


Ingredients

2 ripe but firm bananas

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tbsp granulated sugar

Cooking spray or light oil

Optional: 1 tsp lemon juice + 1 cup water (for soaking)


Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas and slice into 1/8-inch thick rounds.
  2. (Optional) Soak slices in lemon water for 2 minutes, then pat dry.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and grease basket.
  4. Mix cinnamon and sugar; coat banana slices evenly.
  5. Arrange in a single layer in air fryer basket.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway.
  7. Cool on a wire rack to crisp up.
