Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1/3 cup water
4 large flour tortillas
4 tostada shells
1 cup nacho cheese sauce
1 cup sour cream
2 cups shredded lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
1. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart until browned. Drain excess grease.
2. Add the taco seasoning and water to the beef, stir well, and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes until thickened.
3. Warm the flour tortillas slightly so they are soft and easy to fold.
4. Lay one tortilla flat and spoon seasoned beef into the center.
5. Add nacho cheese sauce over the beef, then place a tostada shell on top.
6. Spread sour cream over the tostada shell.
7. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese.
8. Fold the tortilla edges inward all around the filling until the center is covered.
9. Heat a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat and place the wrap seam-side down.
10. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown and crisp.
11. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and fillings.
12. Serve hot while the center is warm and crunchy.
Notes
Warm tortillas before folding so they do not crack.
Keep the lettuce and tomatoes away from the very edges to help the wrap seal better.
Reheat leftovers in a skillet instead of the microwave for the best crispy texture.
