Description
Crispy, golden Homemade Truffle Fries Topped With Parmesan Cheese are an easy recipe that turns simple potatoes into a rich and flavorful side dish. Perfect for snack boards, dinner ideas, party food, or a quick appetizer, these fries combine fluffy centers, crunchy edges, earthy truffle oil, fresh parsley, and salty Parmesan for a restaurant-style bite at home.
Ingredients
2 large russet potatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon truffle oil
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Wash and scrub the potatoes well, then cut them into even fry-shaped strips.
2. Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
3. Drain the potatoes and dry them very well with paper towels or a clean kitchen towel.
4. Place the potatoes in a large bowl and toss with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
5. Spread the fries in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
6. Bake at 425°F for 30 to 40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
7. Transfer the hot fries to a serving bowl and drizzle with truffle oil.
8. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
9. Toss gently and serve immediately while hot and crisp.
Notes
Drying the potatoes well is the key to getting crisp fries.
Add the truffle oil after baking so the flavor stays bold and fresh.
Freshly grated Parmesan melts and sticks better than pre-shredded cheese.
