Ingredients

Unsalted Butter

Granulated Sugar

Eggs

All-Purpose Flour

Baking Powder

Salt

Key Lime Juice

Key Lime Zest

Whole Milk or Buttermilk

Vanilla Extract

Powdered Sugar (for glaze)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease and flour a bundt or loaf pan.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
  4. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Add dry ingredients to butter mixture alternately with milk.
  6. Stir in lime juice, zest, and vanilla.
  7. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 60–70 minutes.
  8. Cool 15 minutes in pan, then transfer to a wire rack.
  9. Whisk powdered sugar with lime juice for glaze.
  10. Drizzle glaze over cooled cake and garnish with lime slices.
