  • Author: Kate Walton
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Description

A comforting pasta dish featuring tender steak bites seared in garlic butter, tossed with rigatoni in a velvety cheese sauce. Perfect for a satisfying weeknight dinner or when you need a hearty, indulgent meal.

Ingredients

Sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

Rigatoni pasta

Butter

Fresh garlic cloves, minced

Heavy cream

Parmesan cheese, grated

Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rigatoni until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 1 tbsp of butter over medium-high heat. Sear steak pieces until browned and just cooked through, about 3–4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add more butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Add heavy cream and let simmer until slightly thickened. Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add cooked rigatoni and steak back into the skillet. Toss to coat everything in the sauce. Add reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
