Ingredients
Sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
Rigatoni pasta
Butter
Fresh garlic cloves, minced
Heavy cream
Parmesan cheese, grated
Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rigatoni until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- In a large skillet, melt 1 tbsp of butter over medium-high heat. Sear steak pieces until browned and just cooked through, about 3–4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add more butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add heavy cream and let simmer until slightly thickened. Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add cooked rigatoni and steak back into the skillet. Toss to coat everything in the sauce. Add reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
