Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
2 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
Instructions
1. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang on the sides for easy lifting.
2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the melted butter, 1 cup creamy peanut butter, graham cracker crumbs, and powdered sugar until fully combined and thick.
3. Press the peanut butter mixture firmly into the prepared pan in an even layer.
4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with the remaining 1/4 cup peanut butter in 20-second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth.
5. Pour the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly to the edges.
6. Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours, or until fully set.
7. Lift from the pan using the parchment paper, slice into bars, and serve chilled or slightly softened.
Notes
Use regular creamy peanut butter for the smoothest texture and best set.
Let the chocolate topping cool slightly before slicing to keep the layers neat.
For extra clean cuts, wipe the knife between slices.
