Description

Strawberry Cheesecake Puppy Chow is a quick dessert snack that turns simple cereal into a sweet, creamy, crunchy treat packed with strawberry flavor and cheesecake-inspired goodness. This easy recipe is perfect for party food ideas, holiday snacks, dessert board additions, quick no-bake treats, and fun food ideas when you want something colorful, festive, and simple to make.

Ingredients

8 cups Rice Chex cereal

2 cups white chocolate chips

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

3 tablespoons strawberry gelatin powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1/3 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed

1 cup mini marshmallows

2 tablespoons festive sprinkles

Instructions

1. Line a large baking sheet or tray with parchment paper and place the Rice Chex cereal in a large mixing bowl.

2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips, cream cheese, and butter. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth.

3. Stir the strawberry gelatin powder and vanilla extract into the melted mixture until fully combined and evenly pink.

4. Pour the coating over the cereal and gently fold until the cereal is well coated.

5. Transfer the coated cereal to a large zip-top bag or container with a lid.

6. Add the powdered sugar and crushed freeze-dried strawberries, then shake gently until all the pieces are coated.

7. Spread the mixture onto the prepared tray and add the mini marshmallows and sprinkles.

8. Let the puppy chow cool completely, then break apart any clumps and serve.

Notes

Use gentle folding so the cereal stays crisp and does not break apart.

Let the coating cool slightly before adding marshmallows if you want them to keep their shape better.

Store in an airtight container in a cool place so the texture stays fresh.
